Hey all! I’m posting a few things here for my Introduction to Lightroom Class at Calumet. As always workshops are a work in progress and we are coming up with new ideas all the time. Please drop me a line if you have any thoughts on how improve this seminar. Positive comments are never discouraged either!

Check out the Classnotes section of my blog for more useful information. I would highly recommend reading over the Workflow notes if you are a newer user.

Little Boys with Hats

We just finished a great series of little girls with flowers. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to follow up with a new one. I’ve come up with little boys with hats. Here are a couple from the past couple days. Contact the studio if you know of anyone that might be interested.

Good News

I have a lot of great news to share lately. On March 1st I’m unveiling a new collection of images titled “Gerber Daisy.” They are the images I’ve featured here of little girls with flowers. Since I’m having a party to debut this collection I’m holding off on posting the final images. You’ll just have to wait!

Ah, there’s more. The collection just won the PPANI Best Album for 2009. Pretty cool. I’m so excited for the little girls and families involved. What a statement about how truly beautiful these children are. As a photographer we are only as good as our subjects. I can’t wait to post the final. It’s pretty amazing to be a part of.

Christmas Family

This family came in the day after Christmas for a larger grouping. It’s always fun to photograph people in great spirits. We managed to even find a florist that was open! Unbelievably nice and laid back people!
