Why do I want to be on this form? I feel greatness is here and I would love to be great. Along with talking and meeting new friends here. But most of all, the learning experience I will receive from my fellow photographers.

Why did I want to be a photographer? Well I love the natural look of people and wanted to photograph them that way. I see things threw my eyes that no one else can. Creating images that will last for a lifetime for families is a great feeling. I love what I do and I am always expanding my creativity in my profession. I started out at a photo lab in Palatine Illinois, I was working at the counter taking in film for customers. I then moved back into the lab where I was an inspector for the prints that came off the printer. I then moved into the darkroom, which I loved. Worked in there for 5 years until a position open in the studio. I figured I could not stay in the dark for ever so I took it. They taught me alot and I made a name for myself there. I stayed 3 more years working in the studio until we moved to Woodstock and I was pregnant with my first child. I worked out of my garage and photographed horse shows, children, weddings, families ... actually anything I could get. My business grew and was to big for my home. So I moved out and rented a 600 sq. building in town. Out grew that spot in 3 years and move to a 1000 sq. ft building which expanded into 2000 sq. ft for me. After 14 years we bought the building in 2004. In 2006 I got sick with Cancer and sold the building and move the studio home. After two years of fighting this sickness, I reopened my studio in a second building on our property. 2000 sq. ft pole barn which was my husbands truck barn at one time. So here I am ... at this point in my life ... still loving what I do! tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Cindy! Hi and Welcome!! Good Luck on the assignments!

I know you from somewhere! I just haven't put my finger on it yet? Have you photographed weddings for Studio One in Crystal Lake by chance? My sister in law lives in Woodstock so we are always there. You may know them, As Dr. Schuberth-Optometrist in town for years. Could be I've seen your adverting too.

Nice web site! I think you will fit in to the group!!

Have fun!
Joe

PS: "I see things threw my eyes that no one else can" Really? My wife claims that very same thing...says she has eye's behind her head too!! LOL I'm leaving for WPPI in Vegas on Monday. She said to me yesterday...."Remember now...I can see what your doing" HA!

Ah YES! Cindy has asked me to be her sponsor. SURPRISE!!! But she may not understand the razzing that goes on around here yet. So to break her in I thought I would find a word for her that will kind of make her crazy. She hates $10. words. She and my husband pick on me when I find a new one to use.
SO Cindy your word is "exuberant" go for it!

Well I have several names. Skyranger was my own nickname. I got it because I used to be a Skydiver. My pirate name though, as given by Mr. Barton, is Frodo. Apparently, I'm supposed to save the world somehow. I'm gonna need a LOT of help huh.gif huh.gif huh.gif wink.gif

So my best friend gave me my word .. sooo here it is!

How has “EXUBERANT” influenced your life?

I guess I received this word because I am enthusiastic and joyful in my life. A lot has happened to me over the years and I look at it as just a stepping-stone for something bigger and greater. I figured after my horse accident that I could of lost my leg, but god had other things in mind. After 3 Car accidents (which were not my fault) and I was ok, god has other things in mind, after coming from an abusive marriage, god had – Oh yeh … Sam my husband now for me. After having cancer and now in remission I feel god has let me know what I am here for. I am a pieces, we are happy, joyful and just love being around people. I love to make people laugh and if someone is sad, it really upsets me and I try to console them. I feel god put me on this earth to take care of all of you. And I think he put me on this website to have Michael give me my shirt. (heee)

Exuberant influenced my life with joy and happiness, with family and great friends!

Hi Joe, No did not shoot for Studio One. I have had my studio for over 30 years. In High School I worked for Skrudland Photo in Palatine. Otherwise it has just been me. I am in the paper a lot however, so that might be were you saw my name.

Peace and Love!
